A Song

A Song

Intervals of silence
Disappear
Quickly dissolving reality.
I picture your eyes
Clasping mine.
Come with me!
I opened my window.

Home

Home

Watching the sky
Glow violet and purple
I listen
While pictures keep stirring,
With insight,
Merge.
The realization
Takes me home
All that we ponder
One's self is.

PortraitOfAPoet

Portrait of a Poet

On the street
I met a neighbor
"Do you celebrate?" she asked
"You should!"
"Of course," I replied
"I can see the sky
I hear a bird sing."

InHalfLight

In Half Light

Through the forest in half light
We wander
Without a word
You take me by the hand
From time to time
I forget why I am thinking
It seems —

Across

Across

It hurts
the distance that lies between us

"Let me whisper
in your beauty full ear
I love you= I love you
And repeat it
Until your ear starts ringing."

I read his words
Again and again.

SnowFlurry

Snow Flurry

A sad wind blows
My hand reaches out
But that last picture
Draws away

TheCity IsBurning

The City Is Burning

Again
I hear the sounds
I see
Weariness
Upon a city
Landscape of grief.
Straws of mercy
Scatters seasons.
Yet,
Though the gale is gone
The crimson din
Is with me still.

AndThereWasLight

And There Was Light

Spring-tides
In the sleeping city.
The power of soft hands
Unlock the darkest evening
Wordless, I understand
I would find no summer
Better than this night.

TheAdulteress

The Adulteress

Night after night
Day after day,
She hides from view.
Poor wretch,
Who lives in fear,
Fugitive chained.
Vagabonds are wiser.

Capriccioso

Capriccioso

She's drawn to the music
he plays.
The pitch and volume
Of deep rapture
A cyclone
Unassailable
Is it time?
Searching the dark night,
She secretly smiles.
There is no one.

Foreboding

Foreboding

Is there a point
Where love ends,
As we walk
Along a tragic path?

Without real affection
A kiss becomes the devil.
And we'll be touching
Madness,
In the shadow of life.

SeedsOf

Seeds of Disaster

The family links arms
In a wasteland of forced shame.
The sneaky kind,
That puts a frame
On a fixed moment.
Seeds of disaster.

Drama

Drama

Curtains are drawn
Of crumpled ethics.
Has he? When?
Sacred rights somewhere
Melodramatic expectation

Almost

Almost Love

Nullity
Stares from a trash basket,
Torturing her patterned memory.
Time twists the string
Of hoped-for tomorrows.
Episodes yellow.
But the abstraction of spirit
Deludes translation.

Hades

Hades

Chills settle the game.
A box – labeled
Lost words.
My instinct is suspect of
Tears we turn over
To allow a storm,
Which spits on impressions.
Sleep glimpses dreamers.
Dead eyes loved you.
It was I,
Demoted to a treasurer–
The overlit longing
Is your creation.

Prophecy

Prophecy

They love
Wide eyed,
Fire fighting
A harvest of burned kisses.
The texture woven at cross-purposes,
Pleasure collapses,
Like collided glass.

Sunblown

Sunblown

In a dream
Two angels
Came face to face
in a puddle of cold rain

We never doubt the sun
Why can't we trust
The pain that may lead
To morning?

Entwined

Entwined

Eyes open
Eyes closed
Every atom
Reflects
The heart that loves me.

Garden

A Garden

A pivot of clouds,
a gardener who can't make it rain,
Thread the dialogue.
These drops would never drift apart.
What I could no longer say,
Can you hear it?

TheWave

The Wave

Only in the desert
Of the mind
Is Love's water
A mirage.

When hearts fly together
Across the ocean,
There is no thirst,
No need for water.

ISaw

I saw you

In you
Life
I saw
Sacred Life
I see
Life
Sacred
We are

IAm

"I am who I am"
"What do you mean?
are you aware
of consciousness?"
"No," he replied
"I am just that"
and with that
he said
what cannot be said
I am, that I am
that I am, that.

Golden

Golden Light

Ours hearts so close
Words have never been.
